hope and glory

I've just returned from a really nice visit to hope and glory in Bury St.Edmonds. Seriously one of the nice places to work, i always have a really great time hanging out with Ollie and Tem, and this time i went with my friend will, he's a great guy to travel with , seriously to funny. We stayed at the newly acquired home of Sarah, Jordan and George, and had a blast, good night of pizza ,family guy and a bug club board meeting hosted by the one and only Chris Newport from Instagram haha! Thanks for letting us stay. will put himself through hell having 2 tattoos and a laser session on his knuckles, and i walked away with a cool rhino beetle and sythe courtesy of CN. 

I got to do a cool snake lady with a hand mirror with a gentleman in it on sean mason while i was there he sat like a champ but sometime it hurts to bad, its ok we got a good 4 hours done, we need to do a lot more lining, hair and leaves, but we are leaving that until next time, was great hanging out sean and thanks a lot. Sean is in a cool death core band called annotations of  an autopsy do check them out. Here's a link to there latest video

Sketchbook update

Almost 30 pages done, like I said this is going to take a while but hopefully it something that'll last.

Ghost House Collective.

Well I have been graciously invited to spend a week at the home of the ghost house crew, so I'll be there from the 19th of June till 23rd. This might turn into something a bit more permanent for me, I need to find a home base and to be honest I'm tired of working alone, this will be the first time that I get to work as part of a team, I've been through a lot of shit, been talked about had rumours spread about, and never felt the confidence to stand up for myself which is quite ironic compared to the character I'm supposed to be rumoured to be right?! So we'll see how this goes so really I'm just asking for a chance to shine so book in email me at drewromero@live.co.uk if you want to book in and get something nice and maybe help me start a new phase in my life the way it's supposed to be, the way we all want out own lives to be, happy and successful.

Holland

I'm back in the UK again after once again a great time in my home away from home.

A big thank you again to my boy Hans from Stay classy as well as all the Stay Classy family in Rotterdam. I will be making regular trips to holland as it is one of my favourite places in the world and if you have not been, without sounding like a travel agent. Go! In other news i'm still working on my new sketchbook I'm up to 14 pages so far, this is going to take a while, i have received a few inquires as to when the book will be available, as of right now, i really can't say, i don't want to rush this. Also the sketches are not for sale or will i tattoo them, they are specifically for this project.

Sketchbook update

Ok so i'm up to 11 pages, I'm going to change genres in this book, they Will be my interpretation of the genres but they will be based on different subjects in tattooing. X

New Sketchbook

As some of you may know, i had my sketchbook stolen in the last couple of weeks. WHICH SUCKS! but you can't dwell on the past and whats done is done. i did put on my face book and instagram if you see or hear of someone trying to sell that book, confront them. But out with the old and into the new, I've started a new project, ( see picture) ,its going to take a while to complete but I'm making a good start. I bought a new sketchbook from ebay ( just search leather sketchbook) spent £49.99 and it arrived yesterday so I've already made a start, I'm working in private and secretly on this one, you may get glimpses, but in all honesty, i want people to see them in the book, or prehaps buy one when they are available. 

My New Blog

So, i've never really been much of a blogger, i'd always assumed that the general public would not care for what said blogger writes, and maybe there must of been a hint of arrogance from the bloggers point of view because they feel that people would want to read about there life. But as it turns out, they do and the blogger doesn't. I enjoy blogs, i find its a nice way to connect with the person who's blog your reading. So to you, the general reader, thank you so much for taking the time to read/follow my blog, its greatly appreciated, and i'll try and keep it interesting with updated news and pictures, events and information.
